I guess you already know what I think about this theme; it is, simply put, the greatest theme available for Firefox! I’m just afraid that, by the time Foxdie 3.5 arrives Firefox 3.6 will be out? I mean, it’s not far away now. Do you know if Mozilla will do any theme changes in Firefox 3.6 that will affect Foxdie’s development?

Yes, I don’t know why some Spanish character can’t display right, so the one who translated it for me suggest me to change them.
This is the last version before 3.5, and it won’t be used in 3.5 anymore…

and i’ve got a question for you: is there any way to cut down the space between favicons on the bookmarks tab? i hope you’ll understand me. cause i am a russian, and i think that my knowledge of English is rather poor:)

I´m using the actual foxdie with FF3.6 Beta4 – just deactivate the “extension comtibility check” (>google) and fine
of course, some little bugs, but in genereal it is working.
so foxdie 3.5 should also wirk with FF3.6 in the same way – probably better.

But (always a but ..) under Linux Ubuntu, the menu opened by “Bookmark This Page” does not work correctly, it’s not possible to scroll the list of folder …

Foxdie 3.5 will only work with Firefox 3.5.*
The versions for Firefox 3.6 will be Foxdie 3.6
I’ll start the development for 3.6 once I release 3.5, it won’t need much time

in 3.5 can u please remove the light windows box when firefox is not in-use? cuz if u click on firefox, color is leopard dark as i wanted. but if i click somewhere else like the start button. the theme get lighter n look really ugly… you mention this before but u never complete it … please

Yes, I know what you want is to remove the inactive mode from non-OSX version, I mentioned it months ago, and I had 4 versions of 3.5, with and without inactive mode in blue and graphite, but I think I can’t maintain so much thing anymore, so I removed the versions with inactive mode yesterday…
Now I have only active mode in non-OSX version, you will have it this month, I haven’t finished what I want to do but I have to release it before the next year, because I don’t want people wait too long, and I’ll put all things in version 3.6
Some info:
Foxdie 3.5 —-> Colorful Foxdie (more than 200 options in the “layout”)
Foxdie 3.6 —-> Metal + Brushed Foxdie
Maybe 3.7 —-> Foxdie with movies/games stuffs
One of the most important reason why it took me so long is that I want to make the extension more friendly to people, but it’s hard when there are too many options…

Hey, John. I got two favors to ask you.
First, remember when you sent me that Snow Leopard theme for WindowBlinds for XP? I’m going to move to Vista soon, so it would be much appreciated if you help me out with that. Second favor is: i just looked in the Safari web browser, and saw that nifty “top sites” feature. Do you know of an add-on, that will add that feature to Firefox, but with the same look as in Safari.

I don’t have that theme for Windows 7/Vista for now, you choose Vista instead of Windows 7?
Google toolbar has the same function as Safari’s top sites, but it hasn’t been themed yet

I was wondering how you removed the black separator line between the Navigation toolbar and the bookmarks bar and create a smooth looking toolbar, same as in the first image at the gallery.
moreover, how do you install it onto Thunderbird?

Yeah, i thought about moving to 7, but as you know, i’m king of a Mac OS fan, and there are still no transformation packs out there to make 7 look like SnowLeopard.

To remove this separator, there need to be another separator with the new urlbar, to add a new urlbar as that screenshot, I need to change something about navigation toolbar buttons, so… you will have it in Foxdie 3.5/3.6
Foxdie is for Firefox, it can’t be installed onto Thunderbird, the ones for TB is Cutebird, themes will be installed by dragging it into the Add-ons window.
I didn’t know that Thunderbird 3 has come out until I received 2 emails asking about themes for TB3 10 minutes ago, I’m afraid I can do nothing for it in months, but I will do it again once I have time for it…

I recently had the following problem, but maybe it will be fixed in Foxdie 3.5/3.6 ?
I have on Foxdie 3.1.9.3 and just recently updated Firefox from 3.5.5 to 3.5.6. When I tried to update Foxdie to 3.1.9.4 I get the following errors:
‘Incompatible Extension: “Foxdie for Firefox” will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates’,
‘Incompatible Theme: “Foxdie (Graphite)” will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates’,
‘Incompatible Theme: “Foxdie (Blue)” will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates’.
The ‘Add-ons’ Dialog still has a ‘Foxdie (Blue): Installing…’ message that doesn’t go away unless I restart Firefox.
Once again, your Foxdie themes are great, thanks for making them.

I used Foxdie 3.1.9.3 on Firefox 3.55 (Linux 386 / german) and have the same problem like Tom has: I updated Firefox to 3.5.6,
.
deinstalled Foxdie 3.1.9.3 and tried to install 3.1.9.4. But this doesn’t work. I get the errors Tom gets too.
Now i can’t use Foxdie anymore
How can I fix it to get this great theme working again?

Yes, something wrong happen with the update info in the files I uploaded to Mozilla before, so if you can’t have it installed, try the DA Mirror link, it will work

Having an issue with the navigation bar in the most recent “Blue” version. It seems to randomly quit working.
Example: I type “yahoo.com” – I get a Google icon and no page movement. Bookmarks still work, but navigation bar does nothing.
Any suggestions?
