Foxdie 3.1.9.0 is available now!

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009 by John Locke Categories: Firefox, Themes Tags: , 82 Responses

Okay everyone :)

Foxdie 3.1.9.0 for Firefox 3.5 is available now!!! go check http://foxdie.us/download

Instruction:

  1. 3.1.9 was upgraded from 3.1.0, and it was originally designed for Firefox 3.0, due to your waiting for the final Foxdie 3.5 theme which I haven’t finished, I fixed 5 bugs of 3.1.0 to make it compatible with Firefox 3.5, but there are still many bugs in 3.1.9.
  2. 3.1.9 includes 1 extension and 2 themes(Blue and Graphtie), what is this extension for?
    It is the ONLY switcher to Foxdie Blue and Foxdie Graphite, also, I will put some sub themes into it later, then you can easily apply any sub theme dynamically, yes, you don’t need to paste those codes and restart your Firefox anymore. In case anyone want to get a quick access to restart Firefox for some other reasons, just shoot ‘Restart’

Let’s see how to use it, as the screen shot below…

2 ways:

  • Tools—->Foxdie for Firefox
  • Or click on the fox icon at the left of status bar to show that popup menu.

BTW, Foxdie 3.5 is perfect in every detail and will be finished soon…

Foxdie 3.1.9.0

    Same here on Linux with both FF3.5.2 and Shiretoko.

    Almost complete graphical corruption or non-display of any window, menu, dialogue etc….

    Totally unusable. :(

    Version 3.1.0 continues to work just fine though, if compatibility with latest FF is forced.

    but If you want to hide it, put this into your userChrome.css

    #foxdie-selector-button,
    #foxdie-selector-button:hover,
    #foxdie-selector-button[buttonover="true"],

    #foxdie-selector-button[open="true"],
    #foxdie-selector-button[buttondown="true"],
    #foxdie-selector-button:not([disabled="true"]):hover:active,

    #foxdie-selector-button[disabled="true"] {
    display: none !important;
    }

    You can see there is an Apple icon in my screen shots(I think it’s not the right moment for me to add this into the themes right now), If you want the same icon, use the folowing, but you need to put this image foxdie selector into your userChrome folder

    #foxdie-selector-button,
    #foxdie-selector-button:hover,
    #foxdie-selector-button[buttonover="true"],

    #foxdie-selector-button[open="true"],
    #foxdie-selector-button[buttondown="true"],
    #foxdie-selector-button:not([disabled="true"]):hover:active,

    #foxdie-selector-button[disabled="true"] {
    list-style-image: url("apple.png") !important;
    -moz-image-region: rect(0px, 16px, 16px, 0px) !important;
